Incorporate new company (standard & same-day)

This guide explains how to incorporate a new entity (a company limited by shares or guarantee, or an LLP) using Kudocs.

The action is available via your homepage.

You do not need to pay for the incorporation – the cost is absorbed by Kudocs as part of your subscription (minimum terms apply).

ECCTA/IDV Alert – from 18 November 2025, all proposed directors must have passed IDV and provide their UID (or ‘Personal Code’) to Companies House as part of incorporation. Proposed PSCs must either provide their UID at incorporation or within 14 days thereafter. All Kudocs processes will be updated to include this. For more details, read our FAQ here.

Complete the incorporation application - it should take less than 5 minutes.

You can incorporate a limited by shares or guarantee company, or an LLP, and select standard or 'same day' incorporation. If you want 'same day', make sure to submit the application before 3pm on a weekday as this is the Companies House cut-off time.

You can either submit the application immediately, or save the draft and come back to it later. You can also download a .pdf summary of the incorporation to review or share offline.

Incorporation reviewed and approved by Companies House.

You will receive an email from Kudocs confirming that the incorporation has been approved. You'll see the company in your Kudocs account immediately. The authentication code will be available in the Company Settings - not that you need it, as Kudocs removes the need for online filing!

The incorporation will show as a completed process in the entity's Kudocs history, and all incorporation documents will be stored in the entity's document store (incorporation certificate, first share certificates, etc).

  • Email sent to initiator confirming the incorporation has been approved.
  • New company will appear in your Kudocs account.
  • All incorporation documents (incorporation certificate, first share certificates, etc) available immediately in Kudocs document store.
  • Authentication code is immediately available in Company Settings – not that you need it, as Kudocs removes the need for online filing!
