Historic share classes (can I delete a share class?)
Can I delete a share class in Kudocs? You can’t delete a share class, in Kudocs, but you can mark it as historic. Just because a share class no longer has any shares in it (e.g. they have all been redesignated into another class or cancelled) and/ or the share class has been removed from the articles of association, you still need to have a record of that share class in Kudocs for the historic transactions with that class.
How to a mark an old share class as historic?. This is easy to do. Go to the Shares & Shareholders page, {View} the share class concerned > {Edit share class} > change the status of the class to {Historic}. The class will then be hidden from the main list of share classes, but can be viewed by clicking on {Show historic share classes}.
