Charges – create a charge (MR01)
This guide explains how to add a charge to Kudocs. This will update the company registers and automatically update Companies House.
The action is available via:
- All actions.
- Accounts, Charges & Dividends.
You can use Kudocs to update an existing charge at Companies House:
- by filing form MR04 (full or partial satisfaction); or
- by filing form MR05 (part or whole of the property charged has been released from the charge OR no longer forms part of the company’s property).

Record route
The charge will have been created and agreed already, off line. Use Kudocs to add the charge to the register and notify Companies House by filing the necessary form (MR01) automatically.

Record the charge - that's it!

You can then add other information about the charge that will show in your registers.
Outputs - all handled automatically by Kudocs
- Activity information stored in Kudocs for future reference & any documents filed in document store.
- Changes will be submitted to CoHse (as if filing MR01).
- Charges registers updated – charge added.
