Portfolio templates/ defaults – for incorporations
Can we set up defaults to be used for companies in our portfolio – for incorporations, etc? Yes. this can be done in Portfolio Settings > Portfolio Customisation.
Can we save our firm’s address(es) as standard addresses to be used as registered office address for our clients? Yes. In Portfolio Customisation you can add addresses that you can then use as registered office address for companies in your portfolio and/or in incorporations. Just select the address from the drop down to save you having to type it each time.
Can we upload template articles to be used in incorporations? Yes. As part of the incorporation process you can choose what type of articles you want for the company. You can choose between Model Articles, upload your own bespoke articles or, you can save template articles in your Portfolio Settings which can you can use whenever needed (so you don’t have to keep finding and uploading the document from your system).
Upload any template articles that your firm uses when incorporating a new entity. You can upload multiple documents and will be able to choose which template you want to use in each incorporation.
You can add:
- Static pdf templates, where all text in the template is uneditable. Kudocs will add a standard front page to the template, which will be in capital letters, Arial font, size 14. Click here to see an example
- Dynamic docx templates, where certain text anywhere in the document will be edited by Kudocs – e.g. the entity name. Kudocs does not create a front page for these articles.
