Companies House filing reminders – confirmation statement & accounts
Will Kudocs send me reminders about upcoming filings that are due at Companies House? Yes, by default Kudocs will send email reminders to a company (or portfolio users, if portfolio) to remind you about upcoming Companies House filings – confirmation statements and accounts. The standard reminders work like a countdown – they are sent over the course of a few weeks, to give you plenty of notice. Read below for more information about how to change these settings.

Where do I change who receives the filing reminders – for a company with its own account? If you are a company with its own account (ie you pay by card), then the person who receives filing reminders will be your primary user. This is set by default to the person who first created the account for the company, but this can be changed in company settings > users:
If your company is part of a portfolio, filing reminders are dealt with differently (see question below):
I am a portfolio customer, what filing reminders does Kudocs send and how can I edit this? As well as being able to check confirmation statement and accounts deadlines in the portfolio dashboard, portfolio customer can also receive:
- email reminders for each entity in their portfolio (these work on a countdown basis over a few weeks); and
- upcoming filing reports – Kudocs can send a email on 1st day of each month to the notification contact email with a report on all the confirmation statement and account (if not excluded) filing deadlines coming up in the selected period, or which are overdue as of 1st of that month. This is in addition to other reminders. These reports can also be generated ad hoc via “Reports & Subscription Management“.
