Features from: 27 Mar 2026 – aggregate amount un/paid on registers and more.

Aggregate paid/unpaid amount in register – The requirement under the Companies Act to show “the amount paid or agreed to be considered as paid on the shares of each member” can be complex and confusing.  See here for more information on this topic.  We have now released a new feature update that allows you to select (Settings > Articles of Association) which figure to use in the shareholder register – the amount recorded in Kudocs (i.e. from the share issues in Kudocs) or the amount manually recorded (i.e. what you have entered on each shareholder page).  You can choose what to show for each share class.  The setting applies to all shareholders in the class.

If you incorporate a company using Kudocs this will be set to “Show amount recorded in Kudocs as paid/unpaid” by default.

You can use this to save time and effort when the aggregate amount paid/ unpaid

 

Group users – We’ve made some further changes and improvements to the group users tool (to allow you to add a user to a group of companies within a portfolio).  For more information on groups, see here.

 

Edit entity number for non-UK entities 

 

Include UID in entity summary report – you can now select to include UIDs (personal codes) in entity summary reports generated by Kudocs.  The codes will show against the relevant roles for each individual.

 

Portfolio Management Layout – we’ve made some small cosmetic changes to how the portfolio management/ settings buttons appear.  We’ve added so many features here that the layout needed to be tidied up!
