You should not use this if you are changing the substance of the articles – if so the company will need to adopt new articles (i.e. make substantive changes) via the adopt new articles process.

I have incorporated a company using Kudocs, but at the time of incorporation did not know the company number of date of adoption/ incorporation. How can I update the articles now that I know this information? It is a bit of an oddity that the articles of association used in incorporation can’t have a company number or date of adoption until the company is incorporated! Company number and date of adoption are not legally required or required for the incorporation, but they are very usually added to articles for best practice. Therefore, we suggest you upload unnumbered & undated articles to the incorporation and then you change the version of the articles later (i.e. replace with a pdf that has the number and date, once you know them).
