Companies House fee changes – 1 May 2024

Breaking news.  Companies House has just published details of the new fees they will be charging from 1 May 2024.

While the UK has always been considered relatively ‘cheap’ compared to other jurisdictions – and probably remains so – these increases are quite significant compared to previous rates.

The most commonly incurred new fees are:

Incorporation

• • Standard: £50 (currently £10)
  • Same day £78 (currently £30)

 

Confirmation statements: £34 (currently £13)

 

Change of name

• • Standard: £20 (currently £8)
  • Same day: £83 (currently £30)

 

Charge registration: £15 (currently £15 – no change!)
