Companies House fee changes – 1 May 2024

Breaking news. Companies House has just published details of the new fees they will be charging from 1 May 2024. While the UK has always been considered relatively ‘cheap’ compared to other jurisdictions – and probably remains so – these increases are quite significant compared to previous rates. Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement) Act 2023 – Kudocs is ready for implementation

The first changes to be implemented by Companies House under the new Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act (2023) (“ECCTA”) are due to come into effect on 4 March 2024. In summary, these changes are: Each entity will be required to provide a registered email address to Companies House as part of their core information.

Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 – first implementation plans

The new Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (ECCTA) received royal assent in October 2023. Companies House (and Kudocs) are getting ready for implementation of the various changes. These will be done in stages over the coming months and years, as secondary legislation is needed in many cases to bring the changes into effect.
